the unseasonable weather has really pulled me out of my winter funk.
i know, i know, just weeks ago i was begging the snow gods for a little something, something.
but now, i'm over it.
i'm over the a$$ biting wind.

i'm over toes that never quite thaw.
i may even be over comfort foods.
and i'm even over the idea of snow.

so yesterday's lovely 69 degree day was indeed a welcome surprise.
and now some springspiration for y'all.

i hope the farmers market looks like this within a month
i'll pack a picnic full of all those veggies for a lazy canoe ride....
i'll wear this dress
and gaze at lone daisies
and not perform spring cleaning duties
and even if it rains
don't worry, then i'll go see cedar rapids
and eat strawberry sugar biscuit trifle
spring is going to be amazing.

Ha, this is really funny, because I was just talking about this with my husband! We finally reached 50 degrees (yay!) only to suddenly have insane amounts of snow fall this afternoon. Why tease me weather gods...why...

ReplyDelete@christina: i know what you mean! i walked home from work on friday in a sleeveless dress in 70 degree weather and today its rainy and 44. and the weather channel promises snow tomorrow. ugg.
