sometimes the only thing that will do is a huge, soft, homemade chocolate chip cookie. of course, i came to this revelation at 9 p.m. and the idea of softening butter was SOOOOOO 12 hours ago. even though i could consider the word homemade to be a relative term (aka tube dough, my friends), i need a lot of motivation to put on shoes and a jacket over my yoga pants and drive two whole minutes to the grocery store. of course, i've done it for cheesecake. but cookie dough? ehhhh it just wasn't going to cut it for this particular craving. thus began the great google search of october 2014. as you can see (ahem, above) i made and polished off a delicious chocolate chip cookie that was gooey in the middle and crispy on the edges. oh and it took less than 15 minutes. highly recommended with a couple glasses of cold milk. ps sharing not required.
