museum birthday

on the day atticus turned TWO we spent some time at the museums. since this boy loves letters more than anyone EVER, we took in the barbara kruger's exhibit at the hirshhorn which displays HUGE words on the walls, ceiling and floor. atty kind of lost his mind as we rode down the escalator and then ran over all the words, screeching out "G! H! M! P!" i like to believe that he thought the exhibit was just for him. after overloading on letters, we walked over to the air and space to look at HUGE planes, spaceships and rockets oh boy! and finished off the day with HUGE fries a la mickey dee's. turning TWO really was HUGE.
