the weather forecast this week is like your indecisive friend who can never decide if she wants pizza or chinese food. she is fickle. you love her for keeping you on your toes, but you want to know if dumplings are in your future. i'm not sure this simile is working out as i intended. anyway, i finally got a new purse. my old old navy beast of a bag was about a zillion years old. okay, maybe closer to seven years old. either way, it served me well, doubling as a diaper bag and even a gym bag a few times, you know back when i actually worked out. right. but the handles were frayed, the crumbs were plentiful and it just looked sad. beyond that, i was never that big of a fan of that old bag. she came around at a purse/bag transition moment and was rotated with a bucket bag that also has seen better days. enough about the bag yet? this spanking new bag was an impulse purchase if i did ever did see one. note, my impulse purchases involve looking at an item at least half a dozen times and then randomly pulling the trigger without thinking that said bag would be delivered during a wintry mix snowstorm when i was out of town for thanksgiving.
