garbage salad



take all the almost expired produce in your fridge, chop it to a similar size, mix with lime juice, rice vinegar and your favorite seasonings. leave to marinate overnight in a big ziplock in the fridge. scoop right out of the bag onto tortilla chips like the classy lady that you know you are. at midnight, nigella style.

this week's garbage salad:
1 bag mixed greens
3 persian cucumbers
2 ears corn
1/4 container leftover rice from chinese feast on thursday
1 lime, juice and zest
couple tbsps rice vinegar
lots of chili powder, cumin, lemon sea salt and pepper
