most of the time, i try really hard with just about everything i do. i try to be nice. i try to do the right thing. i try to be patient. i try to do the best job i can do. i try to be efficient with my time. i try to eat right. i try to get enough sleep. i got the gd diligence award in school almost every year, ask kristin. but sometimes, it just isn't enough. i still f*ck up. after a long saturday, when i just wanted to plop atty in front of yo gabba gabba and have a glass of wine, i didn't. instead, we went outside to HAVE FUN with chalk and bubbles. but all atticus wanted to do was race up and down the sidewalk and giggle. he was perfectly happy and having his own fun but of course, i thought i knew better. as my parents never tire of saying, "jessica, that kid is WAY smarter than you." duh.
