having a party

Atticus Cooke turned the big ONE last week and we celebrated for days.

The family festivities included Sam Cooke on repeat, Italian Store catering and cookie monster cupcakes inspired by Atty's love for Share it Maybe (a very catchy little diddy).

But before we could party we had to prepare.

 And then there was waiting for our guests to arrive.

Upon arrival, Atty showed everyone how to use the ipad.

And then finally got to enjoy a cupcake.

(he is more patient than me)

I mean really enjoy the cupcake.

The sugar really brought out Atty's best dance moves, much better than tom cruise in my opinion.

And  he charmed the pants off his aunties.

ok, well  not really, but his pants were off.

and that was sort of charming.

But like any sugar rush, it doesn't last and sleepy time is imminent.

Thank you to all our family for celebrating the best boy we've ever known.

We couldn't love him more.
