instant mac n cheese

no, not that powdery kind.


Recipe: Instant mac n cheese

Ingredients:
Leftover linguini (about a serving)
2 tsps butter (preferably irish budda)
2 tsps flour
2-3 tbsp milk
1-2 tbsp white wine (optional)
handful grated extra sharp cheddar
smidgen nutmeg and black pepper

Method:
melt butter in a sauce pan over low. whisk in flour for about a minute until combined. add milk and continue to stir till flour and butter are incorporated and sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes. stir in cheese, wine, nutmeg and pepper. when sauce is smooth, lower heat and add cooked pasta. toss till coated and warmed.
