ten things i want to do this weekend

1. get the flu shot so i can stop stressing about a.) when i'm actually going to get it, b.) if it will make me sick and c.) if it will somehow affect my glucose test.

2. not get sick from the flu shot. i'm whiny when i'm sick.

3. make two more batches of better than crack brownies, this will make 5 batches in less than 2 weeks. i think i have a problem. i will post the recipe next week. if the flu shot doesn't make me deathly sick.

4. attend the hatch homecoming with the better than crack brownies, yea!

5. clean the bathroom. of course i don't really want to do this, but it really needs to be done. i keep trying to rearrange the bathroom mat, in a similar way a child might spread their vegetables to the edges of their plates. yeah, mom wasn't convinced we ate them all, and everyone who comes over can still see i need to clean the bathroom.

6. put away all clothes that have zippers. there is no way they're going to fit for at least 6 months and at this point i just feel like they're mocking me. with jazz hands.

7. try to eat relatively healthy in preparation for my glucose test on monday, this will mean restraining myself from the better than crack brownies. maybe only one or two servings? a serving is a row of brownies right? excellent.

8. try to get half way through jane eyre. we're reading this for book club and it's been at least 15 years since i read it the first time. i made a decent dent last friday when i got stuck on the metro with a woman who told me "this was ridiculous" about 50 times, but since? well the dvr has sort of taken over, did you know friends repeats are on tbs on demand?

9. sign up for another yoga workshop. even though i have zero flexibility and mind is always going a mile a minute, it's still good for me to attempt to stretch, relax and repeat.

10. take pictures of food, you know, since this is supposed to be a food blog. duhhhh.
