friday link love

hello all my internet buddies! are you so happy that it's friday? are you ready for the weekend? my answer to that question is always, "always." this weekend i'm in buffalo visiting my family and friends for easter and passover. clearly, we do not discriminate when it comes to the holidaze and i wouldn't have it any other way. i enjoy having a three-hour sedar dinner on saturday night and going to church sunday morning. after all, after both events i get to eat chocolate. how could that be bad? what do you have planned for the weekend? more chocolate?

here's some internet love i've found this week ----

1. my favorite list of all time. and i'm not the only one, this has been all over the blog world and rightly so, just reading it deflates most stress.
2. cool hotels http://emmas.blogg.se/category/design-hotels.html i'd love to stay  at some day.

3. ramen noodle soup from toyko underground. perfectly cooked ramen noodles surrounded by the most deeply flavorful broth, with a half cooked egg, delicate tender strips of pork and topped with spicy kimchi. i tried not to slurp the bowl at the end. i'll be back.

4. 10 things to do for 10 dollars, ladulcavida always knows best.
and i love how it's now fashionable to be cheap.

5. a super cute gardening calendar on etsy found via hither and thither.

6. a new way to mount animal heads via ash and coppice

7. and food stuff . . . . i might make angel food cake this morning for the passover sedar tomorrow. recipe ideas anyone? i also sort of want to make truffles, but  my mom is making the best matzoh bark in creation so i think that would beat out any truffles with it's sweet and salty combination. pictures of both and the sedar to come. have a great weekend all:)

  1. That deer head is too cool. I had to comment on her page as well. I'm not fond of the real one (stuffed animal heads disturb me) so seeing new, creative ways to get the same effect makes me happy..

Have a wonderful, chocolate-y Easter weekend!

  2. It is amazing how many interesting things have yo managed to put into this post. Thanks for so many tips. From the "stress" list, to the ramen noodel soup - it sounds yummy. The links for the cool hotels and the 10 things to do for 10 dollars do not seem to work, at least for me. I will try to google them. And umm, angel food cake and the rest. I hope you did enjoy them a lot!
