totally not a cooking post people, but an ode to trader joes. i have always believed in the power of trader joes, a zillion options of weird, interesting and everyday foods and spirts that fill the tummy and soul with satisfaction like no other. ms. cakes and kisses has a post on her version of therapy, that is trader joes therapy in which she purchases some scrumdiddlyumptious bites.
my post however focuses more on how the hell did i get all of this for $13.47?
do you see all that people? well if not, then here is my list of what i got for $13. 47:
1 box ok-mak crackers
1 tub original hummus
2 bananas
2 apples
1 can tongal tuna in water
2 luna bars
1 pack whole wheat english muffuns
2 greek style yogurts
1 frozen chicken enchilida meal
I think i'm just gonna have to deal with my i got-a-deal-on-yuppie-items-glow for the rest of the day.
