i introduced a bad habit into atticus's life. when it's really too cold to go for a walk and it's not worth it to put up on all the gd gear christmas-story-style; we play in the car. atticus calls this "driving!"
on saturday i felt my life fast forward about fourteen years when atticus begged, "drive for a minute? daddy's car? please, mama?" and looked equally hopeful, annoyed and irresponsible. i'm SO not ready for this. dozens of grey hairs have sprouted on this mama.
