friday link love

i am so ready for the weekend!
nelson is bringing home banh mi and mango boba tea and we're going to see hanna with our living social purchase.
seems like the perfect way to start a rainy weekend.
i do not have any specific cooking plans this weekend, so suggestions welcome please!
what are you all up to this weekend?

some favorite links and things from this week ---

1. when nelson squeezed into bed last night, he was singing "and the littlest one said roll over, roll over" to which i retorted, "move over bacon, there's something new." do you remember this sizzlean commercial from the 80s?

love the mom jeans and teased hair.

2. i just ordered bossypants.

tina fey is the best.
i hope to convince book club that we should read it next.

billy crystal is back in a big way!

i love this website, images of real women doing real things looking natural, cool and unafraid of life. check it out.

5. potbelly cookies

am i the only one who didn't know that potbelly makes insanely good cookies?
their sandwiches and salads are still pretty ehhh, but these cookies are perfect. sort of dangerously raw in the middle and packed full of chocolate chips and oats. i'll be back.

6. norway
black and eiffel had a great post on norway's architecture in nature, linking to a site with phenomenal photographery like above. try pronouncing all the names aloud as you peruse for a chuckle.

______

so what should i make this weekend?
i was thinking of using up the last of the chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cream cheese to make a chocolate chip cookie peanut butter cheesecake, i also wanted to make a pb and j smoothie. looks like either way, peanut butter is on the brain.

have a lovely weekend!
